On August 16, I ventured over to Metropark to do 3 hours of railfanning. Although I still wasn't able to catch 621 Blue Crayola, I was able to get an amazing grab bag of other catches, including an Avelia Liberty NextGen Acela test train 887, NJ Transit 4640 Retro Disco Stripe Heritage Unit deadheading east through the station, Amtrak Acela Express Wicked Wrap on Train 2251, some Amfleet I cars painted in Phase VII livery, and some NJ Transit Veterans Banners. I also recorded some of the station announcements. This marks my very first time seeing the Avelia Liberty test trains in action!
