Story Time:

So we're starting off in the middle of trial 5, where it is already revealed that while paradise isn't real, its intended that those who survive the trails are supposed to use their powers to fix the old world. However, everyones powers are taken back by the old gods they belong to, so Earnest goes down with the blue-souls to find his and get them back. He speaks with an old god and convinces them to give him as well as the other blue souls back their powers.

Later, they enter a secret dimension that helena had been trying to build, there it is revealed that she has control over oordeel. Well, with everyones powers back, all the cats as well as the ghosts of their loved ones confine her into a ball of energy, defeating her. Earnest also says goodbye to Bon-Bon one last time.

Oordeel opens up a gate, ushering the cats through where he speaks to them one last time, letting them know the trials are over, and the world is theirs to nurture back to life.

Earnest, once back home, feels at peace with the state of things, content to bring about a new age of life, with his romantic partners Amos and Bagheera at his side.
