In this video, we wanted to show you what Sofitel Hotels has to offer. The first Sofitel hotel we experienced was in Dubai.

When we arrived, there are always valet employees greeting you upon arrival. We never have to wait. Entering the hotel, we were blown away by the ambiance. Spiral staircase, glass chandeliers, top notch staff! Koa even got a Sofitel Teddy Bear from one of the hotel staff.

Check-in was very fast and easy. After checking in, the receptionist gave us 3 aluminum water bottles. Each floor had a water station which we are able to fill up as we please. The water was always ice cold. This is a great idea to put in their hotels. Every other hotel, I feel we are paying a lot out of pocket just to get something to drink.

The hallways are wide and has an elegant look to it. When entering the hotel, we were blown away. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap were from a luxury brand Balmain. We had a stand up shower which over looks the sleeping space via window. The room had a small walk-in closet where we kept a lot of Koa’s diapers and snacks.

Entering the sleeping area, we had a king size bed, which felt amazing when we slept. A desk to do some work, a cozy chair, and 2 small balconies.

We even got some little treats waiting for us when we arrived which were fresh plums, chocolates and bottle water.

After settling in, our stomachs started to grumble. We drove to Universal City Walk and we ate dinner at Antojitos. We ordered the carnitas nachos, al pastor tacos, an enchilada, a bean and cheese burrito for Koa, and mini chimichangas. The food was good, but I can say the carnitas nachos was the star of the show!
