The New Super Mario Bros. series is one that holds a special place in my heart. The first one on the Nintendo DS was the game that not only got me into Mario, but Nintendo and even gaming as a whole. New Super Mario Bros. Wii also holds significance, because it greatly helped my brother and I bond even during our challenges as brothers. Nearly a decade later, I am revisiting the game that really persuaded me to get a Nintendo 3DS and see how well it has held up. I will not be holding anything back. This game is getting a very honest review, and no amount of coins could change my thoughts on it.
The title ONLY refers to the mainline Super Mario games (platformers). I think it is obvious the truly bad Mario games are spinoffs. (Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Mario Party 10, Paper Mario Sticker Star)
