Released by Tandy Corporation in 1980 as the TRS-80 Color Computer and later marketed as the Tandy Color Computer. It shipped initially with the options of 4k, 16k, or 32k with the higher ram models shipping with Micosoft Color Basic or Extended Color BASIC. Costing $399($1,520 adjusted for inflation). The computer was eventually discontinued 11 years later in 1991. Games and software can be loaded from carts, floppy discs or tape recorders.
