This video shows the steps I took to install th Hyper Engineering SoftStart for 5-7 Ton Residential HVAC Air Conditioners (Model SS1B16-32SN).
In summary, the inrush amps were decreased over 60%. I am very pleased with the performance of this unit. My next test will be to run the A/C (and rest of the house) with the Westinghouse 9500DF Generator.
