The Antiques Man of Bangalore

Hidden in a little alley in the streets of Bangalore is located the old Qurio City Antiques, a store of nostalgia and wonder. Vinyls, cameras, books, paintings, films, CD's; the shop is home to all of these and more, presided by the gentle presence of Mr Ramachandran.

A former fighter pilot, Mr Ram used to go around collecting trinkets from various places in and around India during his travels, and bring them home, much to the surprise of his family. When he eventually retired from the force, Mr Ram decided to go all in into this venture, and opened the Qurio City Shop.

A labour of love, he confesses there's more money lost than being made here. But like all things that are worth investing in, these artifacts only become more valuable with time - and THIS is something Mr Ramachandran knows better than most.
