This week, we’re off to the Grand Brocante in Bordeaux — an incredible antique fair held twice a year and one of our absolute favourites. Even with a frosty 6°C morning chill, we bundled up and made the trip… and trust us, it was worth every shiver!
From timeless French antiques to quirky collectibles, this brocante always delivers surprises — including a jaw-dropping piece priced at a cool twenty thousand dollars 😳 We also stumbled across a stunning table that completely stole our hearts… but for now, the Coco Chanel Room takes priority, so it stayed behind (with a little heartbreak).
Of course, no treasure hunt is complete without a sweet ending: a heavenly Crêpe Suzette that Richard is still dreaming about. Butter, orange, caramelised perfection — pure bliss.
Join us as we wander one of Bordeaux’s biggest antique markets, soak up the atmosphere, and hunt for unique inspiration for our château restoration.
