I’ve often heard of this laundry soap or washing soap that my great grandmother used to make from lard to do the washing in. Well, I found a recipe for that soap and we’re gonna make some today and then test it out in the old Maytag wringer washer to see if it measures up.
This is a really cheap soap that anyone can make probably with things you already have at home. I’m still surprised at how little it cost to make the soap, how well it cleaned and how long it will last.
