Описание:
Due to a reduction in coal and industrial production from South Wales and an increase in fixed goods formations, Severn Tunnel Junction as a yard and stabling point closed in October 1987. Residual marshalling was then moved further west to Newport Station. Captured here, a shadow of it's former self, are a few brief shots showing the stabling point shortly before closure.
