🚆 Full round-trip to the hot springs (Cab Ride Switzerland | S27 Baden - Bad Zurzach - Baden)

In the last few videos we've had relatively new rolling stock and it's time to take a trip on some older rolling stock again. Welcome aboard the S27 service of the Argovia (Aargau) S-Bahn system. Our route today takes us on the route from Baden to Bad Zurzach, famous for its hot springs resort, and back again. You may recognize this stretch of route from the brown coal train video and may experience it in a regional train now. This is a round trip, you‘ll see the line in both directions, including some shunting at the end.

Nowadays the standard single-deck EMU for regional lines is the Stadler Flirt. While it wasn't made in the same factory, it is the de-facto successor of our rolling stock in this video. The so-called "NPZ" were made in the 80s and 90s and have undergone major revision and modernisation a few years ago. They were then renamed to "Domino" and received the standard SBB paintjob with black, white and red. Additionally, a newly made low-floor car was put in the middle, in order to be easily accessible for everyone.
