IISER Details
Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) are a group of premier research-oriented science institutes established by the Government of India. Their main aim is to integrate high-quality science education with cutting-edge research across disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, earth and environmental sciences, and more.
They emphasize research right from the undergraduate level, preparing students for careers in academia, R&D, industry, and science leadership.
Campuses in India:
Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.
INTERVIEW DETAILS:
In this video, I have taken an interview with Mr. Mihir B. Pegu, who is currently studying at IISER Pune. He secured 1st rank in the ST category from Assam State in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024.
OBJECTIVE OF THIS VIDEO:
The main purpose of this video is to spread educational awareness about IISER among students. IISER is still a less-known educational institute in Assam compared to IITs and AIIMS, despite being one of the premier science and research institutes in India.
