Sax On The Runway - VANLOVE FEST 2024

We attended VanLove Fest for the 3rd year running as it's one of the highlights of the festival season for us. We love everything about it - the music, the location, the people... what more could you ask?

Well, this year there was a little incident which tarnished it...

Not to take away from all the hard work that has clearly gone in to organising great artists such as Ellie Sax and Kristin Nairn of course.

The added feel good factor for us was down to Guy & Jo the festival creators getting together with Motorhome Matt to set up a Go Fund Me page and donate all proceeds of the Survivors Sunday Convoy Competition to our good friends Tash & Jon from Life Beyond Bricks.

Jon was taken seriously ill out of the blue with a rare form of leukaemia this year and although the outlook is now really good following intensive chemotherapy, there is a long road ahead to get back to full strength and in turn to work.

The music was excellent from Ellie Sax and her Ibiza Vanthems set and we had such a good laugh and dance with many friends.

Will we go back next year after the little 'incident' though?
