Day 6 of our 7 days on Jasper’s South Boundary Trail started with a long climb up through John John valley and over Poboktan Pass before descending to the Poboktan Creek trail and our campsite for the night.
The weather was cooler – the overnight low was -7C – and the sky clouded up and began to snow on us as we made it into camp.
Once again we saw no one, encountered more signs of bear activity in both valleys, and camped in the snow at aptly named Waterfalls campsite.
