As a full-time house sitter and traveling nomad, I explore remote areas and public lands across the United States to set up trail cameras in underexplored and unique regions. Hilochee WMA, nestled between Clermont and Orlando, offered the perfect environment for setting a long-term wildlife cam — a diverse ecosystem home to white-tailed deer, wild hogs, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, and countless bird species.
