Yet another glorious day of sunshine for the EcoTrail organisers as we struck off from Bray in Co. Wicklow for what is surely one of the most scenic races out there. I found myself isolated early on and proceeded to run almost the entire race on my own. I say almost because I was nearly caught snoozing at the end but what unfolded only made for a dramatic finish to a very enjoyable day in the rolling Wicklow countryside.
Big shoutout to EcoTrail, the volunteers and Wicklow County Tourism for hosting such a great event.
