Classic Car TV: Porsche 911 RS - 2.7, 964 and 993. Design, features (and values!)

This is the next in our series of Modern Classics films at the Classic Car TV channel. After focusing on McLaren in the first video, we look at Porsche, surely once of the most respected names in the sportscar and motorsport world.

Specifically, we are looking at the air-cooled 911 RS's, which today command huge attention and respect by enthusiasts and collectors alike. It is 50 years this year since Porsche launched the 2.7 RS at the Paris Motorshow, and then followed up with two more air-cooled RS's in the form of the 964 RS and the 993 RS. They are all truly amazing cars!

Sticking with the Modern Classics series format, we have interviewed two Porsche gurus - Josh Sadler, who founded Autofarm, and Phil Hindley of Tech 9 Motorsport. Both have huge experience of these cars, motorsport and the broad classic car market. We compare the cars, discuss their individual merits and tackle the tricky issue of rocketing values!
