Southern Railway 2-8-2 #4501 has been back in service for over a full decade in 2025. These scenes take us back to 2015, when the famous Mikado was the star of the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's Railfest in September, and made round trips to Summerville on the old Central of Georgia the following month.

We begin with a look at the work that goes into prepping the locomotive for a day of operations and then go trackside to view the action.
