Right after we see our protagonist do his big showstopping aria, we then see what kind of guy he really is -- so big a dweeb that it takes several minutes of whining in G major to get some rowdy street musicians to leave him alone. A really cool guy could get hardened cops to stop in their tracks with a single calm "back off!" but clearly our hero is too much of a loser to ever scrounge up enough gravitas for that. i mean its not like he's about to be forced out of his comfort zone by a bunch of increasingly wacky hijinks over the next three hours or something
