In this video I offer ideas on how to use BOOKS to help a child communicate. It is so important to expose children at a very young age to literacy, which impacts their overall communication and cognitive development.
I give examples on ways to read and manipulate books at home or in your therapy session in order to work on speech, language, pretend play, preliteracy skills, phonemic and phonological awareness and social skills.
Together we can ignite the SPARKS that get COMMUNICATION started.
