In this clip, Lord Jamar responds to the Lupe Fiasco's claim that Kendrick Lamar isn't a top-tier lyricist. To Lord Jamar, Lupe is "buggin" with that claim because he feels as though Lupe's definition of what makes a great lyricist is flawed. Lord Jamar doesn't believe that punchlines are the only factor in making a dope lyricist. He even backed up his claim by saying he's heard an unreleased Busta Rhymes track featuring K. Dot where he snaps.
The two went on to discuss another lyricist in Black Thought and his epic Funk Flex freestyle. DJ Vlad and Lord Jamar talked about Black Thought's status as a lyricist and his response to DJ Vlad's opinion about him.
