NEW Best Control & Trap Deck?! Odion (Apophis) Deck - Divine Serpent Apophis | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Since the new Apophis is a LVL 4 consider playing Gallant Granite and Lord of Heavenly Prison. These 2 cards are incredibly powerful thanks to OG Temple of the Kings allows you to activate it the trap card immediately (after you search it with Lord effect). So the synergy besides protecting your backrow and getting a spell for next turn is, you can get a trap in opponents turn that you can immediately activate due to Temple of the Kings. With the right hand you can consistently on 3 omni-negates/destroys, a fieldwipe counter trap that negates spell/traps, Azurune's summon negate etc.

The new Odion cards come from new selection pack Aerial Superiority in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. This set brings together Dracotail, Artmage, Odion and many other new cards.

Activate Apophis the Serpent then search Apophis the Swamp Deity
Activate Apophis the Swamp Deity
Special summon Divine by tributing Apophis the Serpent and Apophis the Swamp Deity as materials
Activate Apophis the Serpent effect to search Embodiment of Apophis
