AIMT FOUNDATION DAY 2021

CELEBRATION OF FOUNDATION DAY ON 7TH JAN 2021
AIMT celebrated its 17th Foundation Day virtually on 7th of January 2021, Thursday from 9:55 AM -11:00 AM. The session was conducted through MS Teams by the students of MBA 16, MBA 17, BBA 01 and BBA 02. The speakers for the event were Mr Gireesh Neema, President and Mr. Navin Kaul, Vice President, and other members of Alumni Association. Mr. Gireesh Neema is a trading, marketing, sales and distribution professional. He has valuable experience of 18 years in business development, sales, distribution management and strategic management. He also has a professional experience with ITC ltd since Feb 2002. Mr Naveen Kaul, is a technical professional with cyber-security and emerging technologies amongst his interest areas, he has more than 13 years of experience and has worked with IFI’s like The World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, and agencies like United Nations and DRDO. He is also an expert in establishing project tracking mechanisms, information security strategy, and processes relating to cyber security management.
The anchors of the event were Ms. Titiksha Rana, BBA01 batch and Mr. Shaurya Chaudhary, MBA17 batch. The event started by giving condolence to Major Dipendra Mishra who has recently passed away while he was posted in Poonch J&K, was an alumnus of AIMT (BCA 01). Then we proceeded the event with a positive approach by lighting of lamp followed by saraswati vandana to seek the blessings of the goddess. Cmde (Dr.) Vivek Chawla, Director-AIMT addressed the audience and congratulated all the stakeholders for achieving new heights. He further shared the academic achievements of Institute and mile stones achieved in yester years. Dr. Shruti Gupta, Academic Head, briefed about the insightful memories and journey since 2006 and about the growth and development of the college since inception. President Alumni Association. Mr Gireesh Neema shared his insightful experiences, Vice President Alumni Association, Mr Naveen Kaul addressed the event through an audio message and shared his nostalgic journey. Students of AIMT performed various cultural performances viz dance by MBA 16 and MBA 17, poem by Ashlesha Dubey (MBA 16) and Titiksha Rana (BBA 01). The ALUMNI shared their memories and the insights and experiences of their journey through a nostalgic video message. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Registrar- AIMT followed by National Anthem.
The event was a success and left us with one more baggage of memories with it and the time and energy we stint into the event was truly fair. Hence the event ended sagely.
