Varathu pokku
It is said that this is mostly done in temples where there are other temples near the shrines. The murti of the goddess temple will visit other nearby temples. It is said to take place around 2 o'clock after Pathirav. In such a visit some physical sight like fire will be visible to some people. Moreover, if any creatures or humans come during this varathpoka, there is a possibility of many misfortunes and sometimes even death.
I recently made a video about the Varathu Pokku and after watching that video, many people questioned whether some of the experiences in it were real. This is an explanation video including answers to all the questions and problems I had after taking the video.
