Thanks to a fabulous follower of this channel, (Charisse in Pennsylvania), we have a wonderful journey back to 1948, flipping through a fun slice of history!

(Obviously I didn't see either Gustave Weisskopf or the Wright brothers on their flights, but I'm in the court of Herr Weisskopf as the father of first flight. He was a poor marketer, self-promoter, manager, and failed to pursue patents. The Wright brothers by comparison were shrewd in these areas. They visited Weisskopf who happily shared his designs with them and believed their promise to share in the glory. Anyway - that's MY take!)
