We find in every scripture and religious tradition clear and compelling language commanding us to work against hunger and poverty, and all faith communities have answered that call. But working together is an important next step, and that's what this event is about. Organized by Islamic Relief Canada and the Toronto chapter of Interfaith Harmony week, the event was moderated by Dr. Safiyyah Ally and included Imam Hamid Slimi, Dr. Randall Shnoor, Nihang Gurmant Singh, Reverend Alexander Wilson and Pandit Roopnauth Sharma.
