Leaking radiator in crawlspace

Leaking 💦💦 Radiator directly over the crawlspace. Originally I thought it was the rusted steam piping causing the leak; however upon further inspection and removing the radiator cover above it appears to be due to a damaged/rusted radiator valve. This leaking valve appears to have been occurring for a while considering the damage, wood rot, and potential mold growth observed in the crawlspace. First thing to do is to repair/replace the valve and stop the leaking. Next I would assess the wood rot damage and that will involve ripping out the carpet and repairing sub-flooring and I-joists. #crawlspace #crawlspaceinspections #homeinspectionfinds #moisturedamage #woodrot
