The US & Iran Hold Nuclear Programme Talks In Rome | Subscribe to Firstpost | N18G

The US and Iran have resumed nuclear programme talks in Rome, stated the Iranian state media. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff led the delegations for the Oman-mediated talks. The meeting came after “indirect talks” in Muscat on April 12. Both nations called last week's talks "constructive". The negotiations in Muscat marked the first high-level discussions between the two countries since US President Donald Trump abandoned the nuclear accord in 2018.
