The sweet and unique voice of Freddy McKay.
'Hey Stranger' is from his 'Tribal Inna Yard' LP released on the Live and Learn record label in 1985.
Little Suzie by Wayne Wade was originally on a 12" single and was released on his underrated 1980 LP 'Poor And Humble'.
Curfew by Linval Thompson, was released as a single on his Strong Like Sampson label in 1980.
Morning Curfew by Papa Tullo was released on the b-side.
The Scientist dub version 'Beaming' was released on 'Dub Landing' on the Starlight Record label in 1981.
All tracks were recorded at Channel One, mixed at King Tubby's by Scientist, backed by Roots Radics and produced by Linval Thompson.
These tracks have been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
A tribute to Channel One Studios, Roots Radics, Scientist, King Tubby and Linval Thompson.
