The Tidenham Tunnel, a crucial 1km section of the route, closes from the end of September to the start of April every year. There is an alternative route over the top that we intend to try, but the tunnel is an experience in its own right.
We took this ride on the day before the tunnel was scheduled to close for 2025.

Ten miles approximately. Jayne and I on our Ice Trikes, Daughter Alice and her partner Cerri (the only rider without e assist - well done), and our friend Jan.
Filmed with two Insta's - an R and an RS 1inch, alongside a Nikon 360. Edited with the Insta Studio, which also provided the music.
