Wat Saket hosts the famous Golden Mount Temple Fair (งานวัดภูเขาทอง) during the Loy Krathong festival. (Usually in late October or early November.)
Fun fact: You can see the image of Wat Saket temple on the Thailand two-baht coin.
You can take the Blue Line MRT, stop at "Sam Yot" station and take a few walks to reach there.
