Marcot or inarching is a technique used to propagate fruit trees by inducing root development on a selected branch while it is still attached to the parent tree..
The marcot process involves removing a ring of bark from the selected branch, applying rooting medium and then wrapping the area with a grafting tape.
As the branch remains connected to the parent tree, it continues to receive nutrients, allowing . Once roots are well-established, the branch can be separated from the parent tree and planted as an independent tree.

Inarching method is by choosing two compatible plants, make slanting cuts on rootstock and scion stems, join them with cambium layers in contact, secure with tying material, provide support, nurture the union, and separate the scion once established.
