From Thiruvananthapuram to Nagercoil ksrtc and from there to Tnstc is my journey.
I reached Thiruvananthapuram bus stand at 7 o'clock in the morning. Every 5 minutes a Nagercoil bus departs from Thampanoor bus stand.
Ksrtc & Tnstc are serving in the same ratio
But there were very few direct buses to Kanyakumari at the time of my arrival. Ksrtc is running very few services to Kanyakumari. So I thought that I can take the KSRTC bus ticket to Nagarcoil. The journey was in RSA 804 Fast passenger bus. Bus FARE is Rs 76. It is 86 km to Nagar Kovil.
The route is to Nagercoil via Nemam, Balaramapuram, Neyyatinkara, Parashala, Kaliyikavila, Marthandam, Thakala and Mandakadal.
The bus fare to Kanyakumari is 19 km from Nagar Kovil and is Rs 16/-, 30 minutes journey.
The Tamil Nadu border is at Kaliyikavila, 32 KM from Thiruvananthapuram.
