The usual procedure for a dog food commercial is to "starve" the dog prior to the filming.
This poor little dog is desperate for his young master to finish preparing his daily meal. The dog's tail is moving a "billion" miles per hour.
After putting the dog food bowl down, the dog owner put his hand in mortal jeopardy, by actually pushing the dog's mouth away from his food. Most dogs would not like for somebody to do that, and those angry dogs might BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM.
