Try making this classic Chinese Ginger Scallion Oil at home.
With just four ingredients and a fun technique called splash frying, you can add this sauce to your basic knowledge in just a few minutes.
Recipe
12-15 scallions, rinsed and dried
2 oz. fresh ginger root
1 cup vegetable oil
Mince scallions finely. Grate ginger and combine with scallions.
Bring oil to it's smoke point and set aside briefly. Salt scallion ginger mixture generously. Splash Fry the mixture by slowly pouring on the hot oil.
Mix well and serve with starches or proteins.
