My 1970 BSA Lightning long-stroked to 760cc with an A10 big journal crank. This is a similar set up to a factory A70 motor except the A70 did not enjoy the benefit of a needle roller end feed crank. An early test ride, still running in. 21 tooth gearbox sprocket. Needle roller end feed crank converted,30mm Amal premium concentric carbs. T140 pistons Still running in when this video was shot. This same bike ( while still a 650) is featured on Page 187 of the excellent Thunderbolts and Lightnings book with an E type jag in baker carpark Western Australia.
