A Modern House on the Water | Video 1

From the outset my clients were looking for three things in their new residence: A contemporary home but conventional architectural forms, a series of buildings joined by connecters rather than one large footprint & they wanted as many of the rooms in the home to have view of the adjacent body of water. They also planned on a pool and cabana and both should amplify the property features as well.

The house is organized as a single loaded corridor running west to east. This way the majority of rooms are positioned to take advantage of the view. The three car garage is closest to the main road. The adjacent mudroom can be accessed from the Garage or its own entrance. Down the hall are three support spaces including a pantry & powder room. Across the hall is the Kitchen which includes an island, small dining area and Family room with fireplace. Moving from the Kitchen is a small coffee bar adjacent to the Living room and custom bar area, The Dining Room, across the way, is integrated with the Main Stair Hall. Further to the east is an Office and ensuite Guest Bedroom . At the top of the main stair and to the east is the Primary suite, and to the west are two ensuite bedrooms. A bonus room is positioned directly above the Garage. The site also includes a pool and Cabana. The cabana features an outdoor bar and shower, a small kitchenette, full bath, Living space and loft.
