60 Amp mppt solar charge controller. No Bluetooth and no WiFi but do you really need them.
Main reason for the upgrade is the increased power handling capacity of 60A instead of my previous 30A controller. My previous controller cannot handle a heavy charge in hot weather and goes into thermal protection.
Noticed no difference in output from my previous pwm controller. Unit has built in blower type cooling fan. Display cannot lock in to a particular display screen. The default screen displays PV voltage and watts.
Has not overheated yet. Should be able to accept 8 AWG cables.
It’s best to install at eye level as display is not easy to read unless you press keys to turn up backlit led.
