Tips to create space when turning

-Fully commit to the fake by exaggerating the movement. If you’re faking to turn one way, your body should lean in that direction.
-The fake should be quick and decisive to catch the defender off-guard.
-A body fake is most effective just before you turn or receive the ball. If the defender is close, a well-timed fake can cause them to hesitate or step in the wrong direction.
-If you see the defender bite on the fake, immediately turn in the opposite direction to exploit the space.
-After the fake, turn sharply in the opposite direction. The quick change of direction can leave the defender behind.
