WMSCOG | Diamond Concert Celebration – Los Angeles, CA

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, the World Mission Society Church of God in Reseda, California, marked a momentous milestone with its 60th Anniversary concert. The concert, known as the Diamond Celebration, brought together church members, friends, and guests for an evening filled with inspiring music and joyful fellowship.
The ceremony opened with heartfelt remarks from Pastor Enoch Chung, who welcomed attendees and reflected on the remarkable journey of the church since its founding. Following Pastor Enoch’s warm words, the evening’s musical program began with a stunning performance by the Church of God Orchestra, who captivated the audience with an elegant waltz, followed by several joyful sets. The orchestra’s performance was both moving and mesmerizing, perfectly setting the tone for the celebration of the Church’s legacy.
Next, the Church of God Choir took the stage, delivering passionate ballads describing the incredible act of Christ coming in the flesh and the glorious heavenly wedding banquet. The choir continued to delight with male and female quartets, whose angelic voices seemed to be in perfect harmony. Their renditions of songs in praise of Heavenly Father and Mother exemplified the unity and love central to the Church’s teachings. The female quartet sang a beautiful and harmonious rendition of “You Raise Me Up,” a song that echoed the Church’s volunteer mission to give encouragement and hope.
To conclude the musical portion of the evening, the orchestra delivered an upbeat brass ensemble performance, followed by the lively and engaging Radetzky March. The energetic and spirited performance had the audience clapping along, adding a celebratory flair to the event and leaving everyone on a high note.
The celebration marked the 60th anniversary of the World Mission Society Church of God and a moment to reflect on its extraordinary global reach. From its humble beginnings in 1964, the Church has grown into a worldwide movement with over 3 million members in 175 countries. The teachings of Heavenly Father and Mother, the gospel of the New Covenant, and the light of salvation continue to guide the Church’s mission, drawing people from all corners of the world to experience the love and hope that has been central to its message.
As the World Mission Society Church of God looks toward the future, it remains steadfast in its commitment to sharing the gospel of salvation and leading others to the truth of the New Covenant.
