Here's the Gospel that I Believe

Some Calvinists have told me that I don’t believe in the Gospel and, as a result, claim I’m not a Christian. To clear up any confusion, I want to share the Gospel I believe in and proclaim. Let’s settle this once and for all.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)

"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:27)

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

"The wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23a)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." (Ephesians 1:7)

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
