Every working day, they fly “low and more or less slow” from Opa-Locka Airport in Miami to the Bahamas. The 80-year-old DC-3s take more than an hour, the younger Convairs less than an hour. They transport everything that is needed in the Bahamas and do so reliably. The biggest player is Conquest Air Cargo, which is now replacing its legendary Convair 340s with other 340s: Saab 340s.
