elderberry syrup recipe:
1/2 cup dried elderberries
2 cups water
1small cinnamon stick
1 star anise
Slices of fresh ginger
4 cloves
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup honey
Boil all but last 2 ingredients until half has boiled down, mash and strain (remember not to eat the berries!) then cool and add lemon and honey
