Looooong Hair Growth with Hair Loss (This DHT Blocker May Help?)

Carrie wanted to know how I can achieve long hair growth even with my hair loss. Fair question, since most women with hair loss do experience breakage early in the growth cycle.

90% (if not more!) has to do with luck or genetics. But, I do use a few products that may help to lengthen the growth cycle and/or keep my hair healthier, therefore allowing my hair to grow longer and faster than it otherwise should. The Pura d'Or mentioned in the video is a DHT blocker which can help to stop hair fall (hair shedding), or at least make it less drastic since DHT can cause miniaturization.

Of course, having long hair while dealing with hair loss is both a blessing and a curse. I'm not stuck with shorter styles, and if I WANT to wear a short style, I can always cut my long hair, knowing it will grow back. But, long hair when the quality is compromised (as with hair loss) mean it's pretty lackluster and stringy, and overall, just kinda there. :)
