Yun Seong from Soul Calibur IV is heavily inspired from Hwoarang. Since the game is developed by Bandai Namco as well, I found out that not only was his face and personality oddly similar to Hwoarang (TEKKEN) but also he shares a subsequent chunk of his moveset with him. Hwoarang combos and gameplay seem to be the foundation for Yun Seong move list. A lot of fans theorised in the past that their resemblance by looks, personality and fighting style is because of the two of them ( Hwoarang and Yun Seong) possibly sharing the same lineage.
