"Semangat Juara" means “the spirit of a champion”. My first time visiting Lake Toba and Sumatra, and joined the "Trail of the Kings" ultra trail race by UTMB. This is the first time Indonesia is hosting a UTMB event, with much excitement from runners, organisers, volunteers and local residents.
Lake Toba is truly a beautiful place, just waiting for more people to visit. Hope this video offers a good showcase to some of the nature and beauty of the surrounding areas.
I create videos during these runs to present the location, the race and the people and very seldom put myself into the video, but in this video, as the runners were very spaced out, I was running a lot of scenic parts all by myself, so I had no choice but to "ownself shoot ownself".
