There are a few things that hold drummers back from starting. And one of the most common, is not having the right situation to OWN a drum set.
In this video my aim is to show you why you don’t actually need a drum kit to get started on the drums, and what you can do to develop solid technique with just a practice pad and some sticks.
I’ve been learning drums for a little under 2 years. And yes. Without a drum kit.
Honestly, I’m having a lot of fun - and it’s surprising how much better you can get without a kit.
Take Dave Grohl or Josh Dun for example. They are the ultimate example.
