Entrainment and synchrony are two ways to build and support relationship within psychotherapy and counseling when it comes to working with traumatic stress. In this brief film, these two concepts are explained through Equine Therapy and Nature-Based approaches to regulation, co-regulation, and restoration of the self. Expressive arts therapy [movement, sound, rhythm, enactment, image making, storytelling, creative writing, play] is also integrated with this approach to enhance equine-assisted therapy.
This brief film is part of coursework and training through the Trauma-Informed Practices and Expressive Arts Therapy Institute. For more information see https://expressive-arts-therapy.think... for the Trauma-Informed Practices and Expressive Arts Therapy Institute Learning Center
