Virtual host also called virtual domain. Setting up a virtual host allows you to use an alias name for your localhost. We can setup multiple vhost as per our need so that each local website can be accessible through specific name. Virtual address means IP-based, you can use different IP or different name for each IP’s.
Virual host can be setup easily with xampp apache server on window and using virtual host you can remove localhost from the URL and don’t mandatory to keep the projects file under the htdocs folder of xampp.
