Playing with a Fuzzface BC183 replica from Dominion. Quirky fuzzface with an obnoxious amount of gain on tap, but it’s probably the best fuzzface I’ve ever used. Pulling the fuzz pot back slightly helps clear up the excessive hiss. In the video you can see I adjust the fuzz knob several times to get a cleaner tone, but there’s still plenty of fuzz depending on guitar volume control.
I did have to splice in a small value resistor ~470 ohms on the input wire running to the actual fuzz circuit to address the noise floor, which helped a lot surprisingly.
Despite the quirks, this is an amazing fuzzface.
